John Cooper MP urges both the UK and Scottish Government ministers engage with him on the A75 and A77

Dumfries and Galloway MP, John Cooper, called on ministers in Westminster and the Cabinet Secretary for Transport in Holyrood, Fiona Hyslop MSP, to meet with him to discuss the myriad of ongoing issues with the A75 and A77. Both roads are vital for, not just local but, UK connectivity as a whole. So far, the Department of Transport have said that these road are not their responsibility and Fiona Hyslop has said it would not be appropriate for her to meet with either John Cooper or neighbouring Ayr, Carrick and Cumnock MP, Elaine Stewart.
